YOUR CASE
Your help is needed. Inca Hoots, a local socialite, called a press conference for today. No-one can be sure, but she hinted that she had information on the whereabouts of recently stolen relics. Before she was able to reveal the thief's identity she was found dead in mysterious circumstances! Can you follow the Trail and solve the clues to uncover the murderer and the weapon?
Selkirk & Galashiels
This murder mystery Trail takes in the two towns of Selkirk and Galashiels. Selkirk has a hilltop location with some excellent views of the surrounding area, as well as the spectacular court house that stands today. Meanwhile Galashiels sits in the foot of the valley. The towns both hold a long history of weaving and the buildings remain as a reminder. You may choose to stop at local attractions along the route.
The full Trail consists of a Trail around each town. You can choose which town to visit first. Directions include well signposted local cycle routes (Selkirk - Galashiels) should you choose to enjoy the fantastic countryside on this trail. The trail can be completed in around 3 hours, allowing for a leisurely 8 mile cycle between locations. The cycle is mainly on cycle path with a section on quiet roads. Alternatively you may choose to drive the distance between the 2 towns. No clues are placed en route so there is no requirement to cycle.
