Hawick
Hawick is the largest town in the Scottish Borders and has a turbulent history, prevelant in the Reivers era, where families from both sides of the border made a living from pilaging from others. Throughout this treasure hunt you will cross numerous bridges, indicating their importance in the recovery of Hawick to become a leader during the Industrial Revolution.
This treasure hunt is approx 3.25 miles long and should take no more than 2.5 hours to complete. It concludes near the award winning Wilton Lodge Park, offering further opportunites to enjoy the outdoors. This trail is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
