Occasionally it may not be possible to solve a clue due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as scaffolding or vandalism.
If you had trouble solving a Trail then check the list below to see if your problem has been reported before.
If a Trail is broken and there is nothing mentioned for that location please do complete a customer feedback form and let us know. We really do appreciate everyone's help in keeping the Trails accurate.
When a problem has been reported we fix the Trail immediately, but if your Trail was bought some time ago, your copy will still have the old clue. However, to allow you still to enter the competition, the answer to the clue is shown below.
The overall solution to a Trail is never affected.

Tomintoul - Clue 4 - A signpost at the playpark on the main street has been removed (just after the Trail was launched!) The answer is 4.

Ellon - Please note that the answer to clue 2 is Forvie National Nature Reserve which is found SE of Ellon and not NW as written. The Trail writer (me!) was having an off day and didn't notice that the map's compass was 'upside down'. Please accept my apologies.
