  • YOUR CASE

Ivor Nomunny, direct descendent of a typically corrupt Middle March warden, has uncovered a treasure map detailing the possible locations of some valuable goods that his ancestors pilfered during their many forays into English territory. Can you follow the Trail, solve the clues and identify the centuries old hiding place of the priceless goods? Good luck in your quest - you could win a prize!

    Hawick

Hawick is the largest town in the Scottish Borders and has a turbulent history, prevelant in the Reivers era, where families from both sides of the border made a living from pilaging from others. Throughout this treasure hunt you will cross numerous bridges, indicating their importance in the recovery of Hawick to become a leader during the Industrial Revolution.

This Trail is approx 3.25 miles long and should take no more than 2.5 hours to complete. It concludes near the award winning Wilton Lodge Park, offering further opportunites to enjoy the outdoors. This trail is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
