YOUR CASE
While looking for his father's boyhood comic collection in the attic, young Roger Dodger was amazed to find what looked like a treasure map tucked away up behind the rafters of the old house. Some scribbled notes suggest that it might hold the key to the location of a horde of Russian and Spanish gold brought back in secret on the Discovery. Can you solve the modern day clues to establish the hiding place? You could win a prize!
Dundee City
Dundee is Scotland's fourth largest city. It sits on the north bank of the Firth of Tay on the eastern, North Sea Coast of Scotland. Once a medieval walled city, bound by East and West Port gates, it is now a sprawling urban centre, with two universities, excellent shopping facilities, a modern pedestrianised centre, large green spaces, a new waterfront development, a wealth of science and arts venues and many interesting historical places to visit. This Trail concentrates on the site of the old medieval city of Dundee within the confines of the old city walls. It includes Albert Square and City Square as well as the Howff Cemetery.
This Trail is around one and a half miles long and takes about an hour and a half to complete. It is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
