Dalkeith
Dalkeith was once an important market town in the region. It is one of the main links between Edinburgh and the Borders. This murder mystery trail offers diversity along its route. It begins at the wooded Dalkeith Country Park before leading you through the town centre to a countryside walk and back via the centre to the start point.
The walk is approximately 2.25 miles and will take around 2.5 hours to complete. Part of the route is through forest trail so could be muddy underfoot. There are some steep steps to climb, unfortunately making it unsuitable for wheelchair users and those with prams or pushchairs.
