  • YOUR CASE

Soap star Emma Dale's body has been found washed up on the banks of the River Tay. Rumour has it that her contract was up for renewal - and several actors were keen to replace her. Can you follow the Trail, solve the clues, identify the murderer and the weapon used? You could win a prize!

    Aberfeldy

First made famous by Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet, today Aberfeldy is Scotland's first Fairtrade town and retailers and attractions throughout the area do their best to promote Fairtrade, organic and environmentally friendly products. Easily accessible from the town centre is a hillside walk past gushing waterfalls to the "Birks o' Aberfeldy". Just six miles west of the town, Loch Tay is the largest loch in Perthshire, framed by majestic mountains and hillside farms and cottages. As well as being the popular playground of sailors and watersports enthusiasts, the loch is home to 18 ancient dwellings called crannogs.

This Trail takes you through part of the town centre, along the riverside, through the park and past the old water mill. It is not suitable for wheelchairs but is manageable with most pushchairs. It is around a mile and a quarter and takes an hour and a quarter to complete.
