  • YOUR CASE

Oxford University has been rocked by the murder of one of its most highly respected academics, Professor I M Bray-Nee. Rumoured to have discovered a miracle substance capable of reversing the aging process, the professor was found dead in his laboratory just days before he was due to announce his findings to the world. Oxford's finest detectives are stumped. Can you help them work out who committed this heinous crime, and the weapon they used?

    Oxford City

The beautiful city of Oxford, otherwise known as 'The City of Dreaming Spires', is famous the world over for its ancient university, magnificent architecture and historical context. For over 800 years it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and since the 9th century an established town, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years.

Nowadays, the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town, still with its stunning colleges, churches and chapels, but home also to a growng hi-tech and business community. With its mix of ancient and modern, museums, fabulous shopping, great eating establishments and tranquil meadows and parks in which to stroll or reflect, Oxford is a fascinating and inspirational place to visit at any time of the year.

The Trail is a circular Murder Mystery puzzle of a little over two miles. It will take you around many of the famous landmarks of central Oxford, as well as some hidden gems. It is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, and should take you about two hours to complete.
