YOUR MISSION
American ghost hunter and undercover CIA agent, Chase Spectors has come to Rufford Abbey to investigate strange goings on. Something happened late last night that has made him lose his memory. He now cannot access the coded video recording box to view the footage. Chase knew this might happen and has left clues around the park. He needs you to follow the clues to find the code so he can report back his findings.
Rufford Abbey Country Park
Close to famous Sherwood Forest, Rufford Abbey is a scenic 150 acre historic country park. It has the Abbey ruins, craft centre, lake, wood, gardens and Rufford Watermill. There really is something for everyone. With this Trail you will explore the wonderful building as well as taking in woodland paths and beautiful lakeside walks.
This Trail will take you approximately 2.5 hours to complete and covers a distance of 2.5 miles. It is suitable for pushchairs, although the Abbey itself is only accessible up a small flight of stairs. Regrettably this makes the Trail unsuitable for wheelchair users. There is lots to do and see. It is a great place for a picnic and a kick about with a football. Opening hours for the park are as follows: 10am - 5pm daily in high season and 10.30am - 4.30pm low season.
