  • YOUR CASE

Local aficionados of Warkworth's premier seafood chef, Ivor Bignet, were shocked to hear of his untimely death. He was found dead next to the open safe where the legendary Bignet recipes were stored. Local police led by DCI Nee I Dear have appealed for help to find the murderer. Ivor anticipated his demise and left a trail of clues around the village to help to identify who done it. Can you solve this mystery?

    Warkworth

A castle, a Norman church, a unique medieval bridge, and a quaint village all within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Warkworth has a lot to offer. The post code for the starting point is NE65 0UR and the route is just less than one and a half miles. There are steps at two places which exclude the use of a wheelchair. It is a fine place to stay for a meal or even bring a picnic and eat al fresco by the river or by the castle. If you chose to do the Trail without a break it would take approximately one and a half hours. However anyone is free to visit the castle or the church as they go.
