YOUR CASE
Twas the night of the great storm when Peg Leg Geordie, the infamous smuggler, was washed overboard. While his leg kept him afloat he lost his map which had the location of his buried ill-gotten gains. Its recent discovery shows an island off the Northumberland coast. Peg Leg had created many false locations to confuse his rivals but he had left clues that lead to the name of the place that marks the spot where the treasure is buried. Can you solve this mystery?
Coastal DrivingTrail (a) Warkworth / Craster
PLEASE NOTE. THIS TRAIL IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS COASTAL TRAIL (b), ONLY IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION! The Northumberland Coast is spectacular and is famed for its beauty. This driving Trail will take you to four locations which are all worthy of a visit in their own right. Alnmouth, Warkworth and Boulmer all have charm and are a welcoming destination. Your final destination is world famous in culinary circles. You can be sure that friends will put in an order for Craster kippers if you tell them you are to visit.
This is a driving Trail that starts in Warkworth and ends in Craster. It involves 13 miles of driving and approximately two miles of walking. It is suitable for pushchairs. A wheelchair user would need assistance with some inclines.
