In 1876, Dusty Clayhands sailed away from Carnlough, never to be seen again. Last year fishermen found an old bottle out to sea. It contained a map showing an island in the middle of the Irish Sea that Dusty had discovered. It also contained on how to find the Treasure that Dusty had collected and hidden somewhere on the island. Now you have the chance to find the hidden treasure, solve the clues and discover the location!
Carnlough Treasure Hunt
Carnlough has a picturesque harbour on the shores of Carnlough Bay. Carnlough is situated on the Coast Road beside the North Channel and at the foot of Glencloy, the second of the nine Glens of Antrim.
Around Carnlough you will walk on paved streets. The Trail is easy going with sidewalks and pedestrian areas. The path upto Cranny Falls ground paths and grass and you will have to walk through several gates to discover Cranny Falls. The rest of the route is moderate ups and downs.
This Mystery Treasure Trail is 3 miles in length and 2 hours in duration. The Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs from the cravel track to Cranny Falls.
