The Search for Lady Eleanor's Lost Tiara
Lady Eleanor's priceless diamond tiara is missing! She had entrusted it to her faithful servant, Ifor Getware, to take to the jewellers in Northampton to be cleaned and reset. But on his way back home, Ifor stumbled on a tree root, banged his head, and dropped his bag with the tiara in it in the undergrowth beside the path.
When Ifor eventually woke up, he staggered home but had no recollection of what he had been doing or where he had been. All he could remember were odd hints of places that he may or may not have passed through. Lady Eleanor needs YOUR help to unravel Ifor's ramblings, figure out his route, and find and return her treasured tiara!

Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Stoke Bruerne, there are a few things you need to know...
PLEASE NOTE - After a lot of rain, some sections of the Trail can get quite muddy so suitable footwear is recommended. This also means the route isn’t suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
There may be areas with dog restrictions, so we only recommend bringing your four-legged friends along if a member of your team can stay with them outside any restricted spots.
We recommend parking in the car park next to the museum (NN12 7SE), or in the church field along Shutlanger Road.
Please check for any events before setting off, as outdoor events in the village or along the canal may cause some of the clues on this Trail to become obstructed or difficult to access.
There are public toilets available in the Canal Museum, and the route passes a couple of pubs where you can stop for refreshments.
