We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Please Note:

There are three Clues in Easby Abbey towards the end of the Trail. The abbey is free to enter and open daily from 10am to 4pm, except 24th, 25th and 26th December and 1st January, when the gate is locked. It is still possible to complete the rest of the Trail on these 4 days by making use of the SMS 'stuck on a clue' helpline.

Richmond Live Festival - please note that the Richmond Live Festival takes place once a year, usually on the last weekend of July or the first weekend of August. Please check https://www.richmondlive.org/ for festival dates. When the festival is on, part of the riverside path and one Clue is inaccessible. It is possible to detour via town around this part of the Trail using a smartphone map or local map. The route follows lanes and riverside footpaths which can get quite muddy in parts if there's been a lot of recent rain, so suitable footwear is recommended. The ground underfoot, especially in the abbey grounds, is uneven. This, and the rural paths, gates and one style make the Trail unsuitable for pushchair and wheelchair users.

Toilets and a refreshment kiosk (seasonal) can be found by Clue 07 on the Trail. There are also toilets and refreshments at The Station, which you can pop across the river to before Clue 08 or explore at the end of the Trail.

For picnic stops, the riverside by the waterfall or in Easby Abbey itself are the most scenic spots.
