  • YOUR CASE

Evil anti-environmentalist, Seymour Smog, has plans to drain the Norfolk Broads in order to build more roads. He has hidden his plans for 'safe keeping'. Thankfully, a map detailing possible locations, together with clues that will identify the correct one, has been unearthed. We need our best treasure hunters to solve the clues and reveal the location of Smog's plans so that his dastardly plot can be foiled.

    Wroxham and Hoveton

Located just a few miles north east of Norwich, Wroxham is considered the Capital of the Norfolk Broads and a great starting point should you wish to explore the Broads further, particularly if wishing to do so by boat. Wroxham, to the South, and Hoveton to the North merge into one around the River Bure - however, the two villages are commonly referred to as Wroxham. The start point for the trail is in the (4 hr) car park on Station Road (NR12 8UR) where free parking is available (please note the car park is locked at 9pm each evening).

The trail is centered around the joined villages of Wroxham and Hoveton. Some of the trail is alongside the rivers edge - the water is deep, even at the river edge so children should be closely supervised at all times. The trail is approximately 1.7 miles long and will take about 1.5 hours to complete. It is considered suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs.
