YOUR CASE
The body of local comedian, Paul D Utherwan, has been found in his dressing room the night before starting his world tour. The police have a number of suspects, all of whom have been the subject of the comedians less than funny jokes, but need your help to identify the actual culprit. Can you find the answers to the clues and thus solve the mystery of the joke taken too far.
Old Buckenham
Reputed to have the largest village green in Great Britain, measuring a massive 40 acres, Old Buckenham is situated just south of Attleborough and easily accessible off the A11. The parish church also boasts one of the few remaining octagonal towers. About a mile out of town you can find Old Buckenham airfield. During the last 18 months of World War 2 this was a particularly busy airfield launching 259 missions over enemy territory. 366 USAAF aircrew lost their lives during this period and their names are recorded in the Memorial Room at the Village Hall.
This is a walking trail in the Murder Mystery format. The trail is approximately 1.75 miles long and you should allow up to 2 hours to complete it. The trail is set over level ground throughout although there are a number of sections where terrain may be uneven underfoot. The trail is considered suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The trail starts at the Village Hall (NR17 1RH), off Abbey Road, where free parking is available.
