Retired Cold War spy, Jerry Atrick, really doesn't like the warm weather and is determined to return Norfolk to the Ice Ages. He has planted a device that if activated will ensure the temperature in Norfolk never gets above zero, regardless of the time of year. We need our best agents (that means YOU ...) to solve the clues and reveal the deactivation code before Jerry Atrick can put his twisted plan into action.
Norwich Lanes
Norwich - a fine city! With its numerous ancient and historical buildings, as well as the remains of its city wall, Norwich is one of the finest examples of a Medieval city in Britain. The Norwich Lanes area offers a wealth of heritage and architecture in the cobbled streets around the city centre. The Lanes district is home to two family events through the year - the Norwich Lanes Summer Celebration and the Norwich Lanes Winter Fayre.
This is a Spy Trail and is approximately 1.5 miles long. You should allow approximately 1.5 hours to complete it. There are a couple of gentle inclines during the trail and there is one short section that is partly cobbled underfoot. It is considered suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs. As you would expect from a city centre free car parking is almost non-existent! There are good pay-on-foot car parks in St Andrews Street (NR3 3AJ), St Giles Street (NR2 1JW) and at The Forum (NR2 1AW). Please look out for the "space available" boards as you drive into the city centre. Alternatively, you could use one of the six award-winning out of town "Park and Ride" sites that are available.
