  • YOUR MISSION

Local surfer, Bea Stoked, wants bigger waves to ride. She has planted devices along the North Norfolk coast that, when activated, will create the huge waves she desires. Unfortunately these waves will also flood all the towns and villages along the coast. The remote controller for the device has been found - but can you solve the clues to reveal the deactivation code and so stop this environmental disaster happening?

    North Norfolk 1E Driving Eastbound

**IMPORTANT - THIS IS EXACTLY THE SAME TRAIL AS NORTH NORFOLK 1W (DRIVING WESTBOUND), ONLY IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!**

Much of the Norfolk Coastline has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - and quite rightly so! The North Norfolk Coast Road, stretching from Hunstanton in the West to Cromer in the East is entirely within this designated area. This trail incorporates the area from Holme-next-the-Sea through to Holkham (as well as stops at the villages of Thornham, Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe).

This is a driving and walking trail in the Spy format. It is also suitable as a cycling trail, although please note that the 'legs' between the villages are along the main A149 North Norfolk Coast Road which can be very busy, particularly during the Summer months.

Some of the walking sections are along the North Norfolk Coast Path and, depending on the time of year, may not be suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The driving element of the trail is 13 miles long and the walking element 2.6 miles. It is recommended that you allow up to 4 hours to complete the entire trail. This trail is compatible with the Coasthopper Bus Service. HOWEVER please note this is NOT a circular trail and sufficient time should be allowed at the end of the trail for your return journey - please check the relevant timetables prior to setting off.
