YOUR CASE
Locals were stunned to hear of the death of pub landlord, Bud Light, yesterday. The police officer in charge of the investigation, Eve Ningall, has confirmed that they are treating the landlord`s death as `suspicious`. If you can uncover the truth about who took the publican`s life, and how they did so, you could win a prize!
King`s Lynn (South)
Sitting on the banks of the Great Ouse, King`s Lynn is one of Norfolk`s northernmost towns and is the gateway to both the Fens and the beautiful Norfolk coast. By the 14th century King`s Lynn was ranked as the third port of England, and this maritime past can still be found around the town to this day. Old merchant`s house stretch down to the river between cobbled lanes and the elegant Custom House overlooks the original medieval harbour. King`s Lynn is also proud to be recognised as a festival town with its annual Festival and Festival Too held during the summer months. For two weeks in February, starting on the 14th, King`s Lynn is also home to what is traditionally the first funfair in the Showmen`s calendar where new rides are tried out and old favourites brought out from winter storage. Located at the confluence of 5 major trunk roads the town is easily accessible from most directions!
This is a Murder Mystery Trail (which, until the 21st November 2011, was previously known as The King`s Lynn Trail!). The trail is approximately 2 miles long and you should allow up to 2.5 hours to complete. The trail is mainly over level terrain and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Car parking (pay and display) is available at the Railway Station (PE30 1NX). There are also a number of time-limited free car parks nearby, although these can have additional restrictions (such as minimum spend in store) enforced during busy periods.
