Navigating The Route
This is a circular investigation around King’s Lynn’s historic town centre, The Walks and the quayside. Detectives will follow pavements and well-maintained paths throughout, with just one short cobbled section to watch out for.
The terrain is mostly flat and steady, so you can keep a brisk pace while gathering evidence. Take extra care near the quayside, where there are no railings by the water and conditions can be slippery. Keep your team close and alert at all times.
Getting There
Time to roll in and launch your investigation:
Railway Station Car Park (PE30 1NX) - A convenient pay and display option right by the start point.
Morrisons Car Park (PE30 1RX) - Offers up to three hours free parking within easy reach of HQ.
Begin your enquiries outside the train station, where your first clue is waiting nearby.
Need the Loo?
Even seasoned sleuths need to plan their pit stops!
Public toilets are available after Clues 03 and 16 along the route, so it’s worth timing your breaks as the investigation unfolds.
You’ll also pass plenty of cafés, pubs and shops - ideal for a quick refuel or an undercover snack stop.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks
Four-legged detectives are welcome to assist with the case!
There are plenty of open spaces and sniff-worthy spots, especially in The Walks and along quieter stretches of the route. Just keep leads handy near roads and take extra care by the quayside.
