YOUR MISSION
The mayor wishes to fully incorporate the town`s automatic flood protection system with the manual systems. Unfortunately the system designer, Mike Roesoft, has forgotten the 4-digit authentication code required to activate it. Can you solve the clues and reveal the code required before another high tide to match those from 1981 and 1953 (in particular) causes devastation throughout the town centre?
King`s Lynn (North)
King`s Lynn is an historic port that dates back to the 12th Century. Situated on the Wash, one of the largest estuaries in Britain, the town has long been a centre for commerce. For over a thousand years over 40 generations of fisher-folk here have made a living from the sea - parts of this Trail will take you to what was the centre of the fishing community and allows you the opportunity to visit, should you wish, what little is left of the original buildings (True`s Yard Fisherfolk Museum).
This is a walking Trail, in the spy format. The Trail is 1.5 miles long and you should allow 1.5 hours to complete it. The Trail is over level ground throughout and, whilst there are a couple of cobbled sections, it is considered suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs. Public toilets can be found along the route.
The Trail starts at the Corn Exchange, on the western side of the Tuesday Market Place. Suitable short term (pay and display) parking is available here [PE30 1JJ] (except on Tuesdays).
