  • YOUR MISSION

One of our agents, Jim Band, has discovered that the evil genius, Dr Dan Gerous, has developed an explosive that if detonated will ensure it rains in Holt every day of the year. Unfortunately Band was eliminated before he could tell us the code to deactivate the device, but he did leave a trail of clues around Holt in case he was neutralised. We need you – our best agent – to help us retrieve this code and save the day!!

    Holt

Holt is a bustling, Georgian country market town situated 3 miles from the North Norfolk coast, off the A148 between Fakenham and Cromer. Whilst the traditional market has not been run since 1960 the town itself still has a broad range of unusual and speciality shops, selling clothes, food, antiques and crafts plus art galleries and book shops.

Holt is associated with the owl - the story goes that an owl was disturbing local residents. One story said it was put in a cattle pound, but not surprisingly, it flew away. Another version is that the owl's hooting so annoyed men working on the church that they pushed it up a water spout and left it to drown. The owl, however, managed to fly out of the top.

This is a Spy Walking Trail over level terrain. It is suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs. The trail is 1.5 miles long and should take approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Free on-street parking is available but is limited in the town centre itself. There is a pay and display car park situated just off Albert Street (area post code NR25 6HZ).

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
"It was great fun - me and my Mum did it together. There are some very easy ansers and some very hard. The last clue took ages to find - we were looking up instead of down! When I had given up all hope I put my head down and there the answer was!"
