YOUR CASE
Local arcade worker, Dee Zaster, has buried the nights takings in what she thought was a safe location. Trouble is she has forgotten where - and she has to give the money to her boss, Mr Ray Kittin, very soon. All she has to help is this treasure map. So that her boss doesn't get suspicious Dee is looking for help in locating where she left the money. Can you solve the clues and find the answer?
Great Yarmouth
The last major town along the East Anglian coastline before crossing the county border into Suffolk, Great Yarmouth is very proud of its maritime history, and in particular its connections with Nelson, who was given the Freedom of the Borough after his victory at the Battle of the Nile. The South Quay was described in 1724 by Daniel Defoe as “the finest quay in England, if not in Europe” and despite heavy bomb damage during the Second World War remains a fine site today. The ruins of the city wall and the narrow cobbled ‘rows’ are a reminder of its past history whilst the Golden Mile and Pleasure Beach ensure the town is every bit a modern seaside resort. Great Yarmouth is located approximately 16 miles to the East of Norwich and 10 miles North of Lowestoft.
This is a Treasure Hunt trail. The trail is approximately 2 miles long and you should allow approximately 2 hours to complete. The ground is fairly level throughout although there are some sections that are ‘cobbled’ underfoot. The trail is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Out of season free on-street parking may be available. However, in-season the nearest pay and display parking can be found at North Drive (NR30 1EQ).
