YOUR CASE
Only hours before archaeologist Indiana Bones was due to reveal the map which would lead to hidden pirate treasure, the auction of which would benefit all in Blakeney, that it was stolen from his home by arch criminal 'Light Fingered' Bob. As luck would have it Bones had made a copy - can you help him solve the clues and beat the dastardly Bob to the treasure trove?
Blakeney
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Blakeney is an absolute gem of a village and perhaps one of the most enchanting villages along the North Norfolk coastline with many of its cottages and houses dating back many hundreds of years. The marshes, sand hills and mud banks (the legacy of the silting of the harbour) are home to a wide variety of birds and animals, many of them migratory. Blakeney can be found off the North Norfolk Coast Road (A149), mid way between Hunstanton to the West and Cromer to the East. A must see village!
This is a Treasure Hunt Trail. The trail is in the region of 2 miles long and you should allow approximately 2 hours to complete. The trail is set around the quayside and main village area of Blakeney. In sections where pushchairs and wheelchairs may face difficulties an alternative route is suggested. The trail starts in the grounds of the Village Hall (NR25 7NQ), where there is also ample free car parking available. To get to the Hall turn south off the A149 onto the B1156 (Langham Road).
