Tregenna Castle Hotel in St Ives was the venue for the first Treasure Trails annual licensee conference.
All eight current licensees and many of their partners gathered on January 18th to meet each other, review the current company position, discuss future developments, enjoy some good food and wine and play the odd round of golf.
Managing Director Steve Ridd played host to a varied day which saw licensees meet each other for the first time, and also meet the new head office staff that had recently joined.
“Wow, that was good!” said Steve, “Our first annual conference was a very important milestone for us as a company and I’m pleased to say it all went brilliantly. Everyone bonded really well, and we exchanged some great ideas. With the new plans and products we have in the pipeline, and the brilliant team I’ve seen here today, I am confident 2008 is going to be an outstanding year for Treasure Trails.”
The conference started on the Thursday with an informal meal and drinks before everyone knuckled down to a day of work on the Friday.
“With the business over, Friday evening was the time for everyone to let their hair down,” continued Steve, “I can’t remember what time I eventually got to bed, but it was so late it was early – and my golf suffered a bit on Saturday, but it was worth it . What a resounding success.”
The venue for next year’s conference was decided by ballot so the team - which is sure to have expanded by next January – is already looking forward to gathering in Edinburgh.
