  • YOUR MISSION

The evil Dr Mudin Uri has planted an explosive device to drain the canal into an old forgotten mineshaft beneath it unless the boat owners pay him protection money to keep their homes afloat. Sandy Bottom found the device and left a series of clues to deactivate it before his body was found floating in the water near Gopsall Wharf. Can you complete his work and crack the code to keep the boats afloat?

    Shackerstone

This Drive or Cycle Trail takes you through some of the most attractive villages of West Leicestershire, set in quiet gently rolling countryside and 'far from the madding crowd'. The Trail starts in Appleby Magna, with its Moat House and the Sir John Moore Free School and ends at Shackerstone, home to the famous Battlefield Railway line which passes through Market Bosworth to Shenton. On the way the Trail passes through villages steeped in history, close to the meandering Ashby Canal. It is an area to be explored at leisure again... and again.

The Trail is suitable for wheelchairs except when accessing and leaving the towpath at Shackerstone.
