  • YOUR MISSION

The green fingered genius, Dr Rose Gardener, acting on behalf of an unscrupulous nearby town, has planted a device due to be activated in the months before the prestigious Britain in Bloom competition. The device will spray strong fertiliser making the flowers bloom too early, thereby scuppering Oakham's chance to keep its prestigious award in this year's competition. Crack the deactivation code to save Oakham's flowers!

    Oakham

This Trail is just over a mile long and should take about an hour and a half to complete. It is along level pavements with no inclines so is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Oakham is a fascinating old market town that was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. It has many characterful buildings of interest including a school dating from the 1500's, a castle, an old market place and an imposing parish church, dating back to the 13th century. It is also a thriving shopping centres and hosts numerous wine bars, restaurants, tearooms and pubs - altogether a perfect place to spend time exploring!

Suitable for all ages and levels of mobility.
