  • YOUR CASE

Rumour tells that before he went bankrupt, Beau Dixie lost a small fortune to a local gambler, P. Okerman who then quickly disappeared from Bosworth. Recently an old map, with his initials on it, was unearthed in a cellar in Market Place. Does it show where he went? Does it show where he might have hidden the Dixie gold? Follow the clues to find the historic hoard!

    Market Bosworth

The ancient town of Market Bosworth has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. The Romans were here and in the Domesday Book the town was recorded as Boseworde, the homestead of Bosa. It was made famous by the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 and, subsequently, by being the seat of the Dixie family who built the magnificent Bosworth Hall, now a hotel. Today it remains a town full of life and history, with 60 buildings still listed for their historical or architectural interest. It is a charming and fascinating place to explore. New discoveries await round almost every corner!

This Treasure Trail is through the streets of the town on good pavements and walkways. It is suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs.
