YOUR MISSION
Evil genius Dr. Pongi, insanely jealous of the popularity of the local canal system around Foxton, is close to executing a vile plot. He has installed stinkbombs in each of the five local tunnels, Blisworth, Braunston, Crick, Husbands Bosworth and Saddington. They will release a rank smelling vapour resembling rotten Stilton Cheese which makes anyone who inhales it very ill. Find the code to disable the trigger mechanism...and fast!
Foxton Locks and Village
This 2.5 mile Trail will take you about three hours to complete. Set in the beautiful rolling countryside of South East Leicestershire, this Spy Trail takes you round the famous site of Foxton Locks, with its flight of ten locks, the fantastic Inclined Plane Boat Lift and museum. The Trail then takes you along the towpath into the tranquil village of Foxton itself, before returning across country to the Locks, where there are all the facilities you need for a fabulous and fascinating adventure. The Trail is suitable for pushchairs but the towpaths and cross country paths may be slippery when wet, so good walking footwear is recommended.
This Trail, while generally on the level, does involve some steep inclines. Some paths may be muddy in wet weather, but it is suitable for pushchairs.
