Rutland Water North Shore
This ten mile driving or cycling Trail involves about two and a half miles of walking and should take about three hours to complete. It takes you through classic rolling Rutland countryside to the fascinating villages of Greetham, Cottesmore, Exton and Empingham, steeped in the history of middle England. It ends at Whitwell on the North Shore of Rutland Water, where you can relax at the cafe bar, stroll about and look at the boats and windsurfers, take a trip on the water or even face the challenge of the 'Rock Blok'!
