TREASURE TRAILS IN THE NEWS

New Director joins the Treasure Trails team

20/10/2011

Graham Keene and Steve Ridd MBETreasure Trails is pleased to welcome a new Director, Graham Keene, to the team. Graham brings a wealth of business knowledge and experience to Treasure Trails after founding, building and recently selling one of the UK’s leading international live event agencies.

Steve Ridd MBE, a former army Major, retired from the forces in 2004 and originally founded Treasure Trails in Cornwall as a way of rediscovering his home county. He has since grown the company into a national franchise with 37 Licensees, 6 Head Office staff in Truro and over 800 Trails UK wide.

At a recent investment event, Steve found the perfect business partner in Devon based investor, Graham Keene. Graham says ‘I am delighted to be joining Treasure Trails. Under Steve's leadership the company has grown from an idea to a national franchised business and I am very much looking forward to working with the Truro headquarters team to develop the product and service offer for our current licensees. Treasure Trails has the potential to become an international business within 5 years and I hope that my experience from running a global events agency will be of benefit.’

Steve says ‘I have absolutely loved creating the Treasure Trails products, brand and family over the last six years, but there is only so much that a husband and wife team can do. The concept has become a national success and I have felt strongly that what we needed was strengthening at the executive level, to help take the next big step. I am very excited about the future of the company. Graham will be playing a hands-on role at board level and together we now have the skills and capital to turn Treasure Trails into a household name.’
