We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before you set off on your awesome adventure, there are a few things you need to know...

This Trail is not marked as wheelchair or pushchair friendly due to steep steps and narrow alleyways. Trail adventurers with a light pushchair may find the route manageable.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note some beaches may have restrictions, so please stick to the path and keep your pup on a lead in these areas.

This Trail starts at Gorrell Tank (CT5 1BZ) long stay car park. This car park is partly closed on a Thursday due to the market, but there are several short stay car parks just a few minutes' walk away. The next closest long stay car park is at Tankerton Road (CT5 2HH).

As well as the weekly market, Whitstable has a whole host of entertaining events throughout the year. From the summertime beach-based fun of the Oyster Festival, Harbour Day and Regatta to the unmissable Jack in the Green on May Day. Although these would be fab occasions to visit Whitstable, you may find that some clues will be obscured or difficult to access. Please contact Whitstable's Visitor Information for event dates if you are unsure.

There are public toilets available at Whitstable Harbour road, a minutes' walk from the start point, and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way.

Why not make a day of it and visit Whitstable Castle and Gardens for a heritage fix, or take a stroll along the beach with an ice cream in hand!
