YOUR MISSION
As part of his plan to take over the world, Dr Horribly Rotten has planted a series of bombs around the county of Herefordshire. Our agent has recently discovered there might be one in Kington, buried somewhere near the river Arrow. He has asked the public to help him solve the clues and get the code which will deactivate the device! There is no time to lose! Good luck with your mission.
Kington
Kington is a small historic market town on the English/Welsh border mentioned as ‘Chingtune' in the Domesday Book. There are beautiful panoramic views all round the town of the open countryside and surrounding hills.
This is a Spy Trail. The Trail will take you round the old market town of Kington, past the Arrow River and Parish Church of St Mary's as well as past other historic buildings. There are no steps or stairs to negotiate although there a couple of fairly steep inclines and regrettably it is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the narrow lanes and paths. The Trail will take you approximately 2 hours assuming you don't divert into the many shops and cafes along the route! It is about 1.5 miles long.
Please note that the story surrounding the Spy Mission in this trail is entirely fictional and intended for fun only.
