  • YOUR CASE

This unsolved mystery involved the disappearance of the famous and priceless Carta Magnum from the cloisters many years ago and its reappearance in the Cathedral grounds a few days later, alongside the body of a local merchant. Who killed the merchant and how? Can you be the one to find out?

    Hereford

Hereford is a bustling city full of historical interest, attractive buildings and alleyways, and old courtyards. It is a great place to explore anytime of the year as well as to live, eat and shop. It sits on the River Wye and its beautiful Cathedral contains 2 of Britain's most important historical treasures - the medieval Mappa Mundi and Chained Library.

This is a Murder Mystery Trail. The Trail runs through the City and along the river finishing at the Cathedral. There are no steps to negotiate and so it is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The Trail will take you approximately 2 hours assuming you don't divert into the many shops and cafes along the route! It is about 2 miles.

Parking shown on the map is at Merton Meadow which is £1 for all day, but you do have to walk about 10 mins to get to the start point of the Trail. There are more expensive car parks closer to the start.

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Just the right distance. Great clues, fantastic afternoon out and we passed a few pubs along the way.
