YOUR MISSION
Your mission if you wish to complete it! A sorcering time traveller from the Medieval Age has jumped into the present and placed an enchanted bomb along the old walls of Southampton. If it goes off we will all revert back to 1209! You must cross between the walls and enter the ancient city as well as the present time to find all the codes to stop chaos prevailing.
Historic Southampton
Southampton is the biggest city in Hampshire, it is a vibrant and busy place with a huge amount of culture & history. The architecture is mostly modern, but in parts of the old city there are still Tudor houses & Inns to be seen. This walk takes you along the ancient medieval walls dating back to 1200, orginally built to protect the Town. Today the city still has a large working port. Many historic journeys have sailed from here including The Mayflower and The Titanic.
The walk is gentle and suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. It is 1.5 miles long which should take 2 hours to complete. There is also a Trasure Trail through the gardens of Southampton for you to enjoy.
