Eastleigh is a industrial railway Town. From 1884-1962 buisness boomed with wagon & carriage works. Today the Swan, a large shopping arcade is the centre of Town. This trail takes you from Eastleigh station along the pretty old factory houses to the park in the centre of Town. This trail would be ideal to do before a shopping trip. An great way to learn about the history of the Town.
This is a 1.5 mile trail and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs as it is always on flat pavements. You should plan about 2 hours to complete the trail. There are a choice of places to eat and shop in Eastleigh.
