Oh no! Potty Professor Isaac Leverdich has left his colour-suction engine switched on in his lab in Shoreditch and gone away on holiday! Luckily for us, he's written a series of clues to the code which will stop the device. Your mission is to explore Shoreditch, find and solve the clues, and crack the code before everything - the cocktails, the fashion, even the graffiti - turns grey!
Shoreditch and Columbia Road
There's loads of colour and variety in this spy mission Trail which explores arty Shoreditch and ventures along charming Columbia Road. Shoreditch is an area bordered by the ethnic feast of Brick Lane and fashionable Hoxton. It continues to undergo regeneration and has gained a reputation as a funky hub for artists, vintage, design, new media, and the nightlife that goes along with that. You'll encounter boutique shopping, flashbacks to London's industrial east end, the quirkiness of Columbia Road and the cool, historic oasis of Arnold Circus.
If you do this Trail on a Sunday, you'll be able to experience Columbia Road Flower Market too - it's on from 8am to 3pm.
This is a circular walking route which starts and ends at Shoreditch High Street Station. It is suitable for pushchairs but includes a few clues which are only accessible up steps, some cobbled and narrow streets, and so it is not recommended for wheelchair users without assistance.
There are pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and public toilet facilities on the route.
