YOUR CASE
Infamous London playboy Jerry Wallow is dead! All the evidence points to 'death by misadventure', but the circumstances are baffling and have the Police going round in circles in their investigations. Now YOU've received an anonymous letter with a number of clues detailing who amongst the suspects has a rock-solid alibi...
Covent Garden
With shades of Agatha Christie to amuse and confound you, this Murder Mystery Walking Trail wends its way through the streets and alleyways of Covent Garden and Seven Dials. Before arriving at the conclusion you'll have drifted into London's Theatreland and passed through one of the city's most tempting and entertaining shopping districts. Covent Garden Market with its striking architecture by Inigo Jones is famous as the site of the flower-seller's stall in George Bernard shaw's 'Pygmalion' (and the musical My Fair Lady), and this area is also the setting for Alfred Hitchcock's film, 'Frenzy'.
Level walking along pavements and pedestrianised areas makes this Trail suitable for people of all physical abilities to enjoy. Note that some clues are located quite high up above street level.
Approximate distance 1.5 miles. Estimated time to complete 1.5 to 2 hours. Nearest Tube Station: Leicester Square. The Trail starts near Leicester Square Tube Station and ends in Covent Garden itself (nearest Tube Station Covent Garden).
