  • YOUR CASE

Calamity has befallen the Wobbleshaft Theatre Company! On the eve of their opening night in London, the corpse of leading actor Mervyn Murkin has been found floating in the Thames. But which jealous fellow cast-member could have committed this dreadful deed? And what weapon was used? Follow the Trail to solve the mystery and bring the guilty thespian to justice!

    Bankside

London's Bankside has a rich history of culture and entertainment, and this Murder Mystery Walking Trail will lead you past some wonderful historical sites, dating from Roman times to the modern era. You'll start at London Bridge, pass through the famous Borough Market, wander past ancient breweries, theatres, bear-baiting sites, palaces and prisons. Discover more about London's Bacchanalian 17th Century Frost Fairs, and the area once a part of Surrey and owned by the Bishops of Winchester, which became known as 'The Liberty of the Clink'.

This is a level walking route which takes in fascinating back streets between London Bridge and the Tate Modern, returning along the Thames Path riverside walk on the South Bank.

    Approximate distance 2 miles.
    Estimated completion time 1.5 hours.
Nearest Tube Station: London Bridge (Northern and Jubilee Lines)
The Trail starts and ends close to London Bridge Station.
The Trail is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, although there are some cobbled areas and kerbs which may need some assistance or negotiation.

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
It was very enjoyable and kept the attention of my kids throughout. the clues were close enough not for them to get bored. Also got to see parts of London which you would not normally go to. I will be applying for another very soon.
