  • YOUR CASE

The partnership of Messrs. Warp and Weft had been successful but turbulent. Walter Warp fled with the gains of their weaving business when the fabric of their relationship finally unravelled. Years later he returned only to be struck by a fatal illness picked up during his travels. Amongst Warp's belongings William Weft found a map showing where Warp had stashed the cash. Prosperity may loom if you can help Weft recover his money!

    Wotton-under- Edge

Wotton-under-Edge is a small Cotswold wool town in the District of Stroud. The Cotswold Way runs through the town making Wotton popular with walkers.

This 1.5mile Trail takes you through the town, revealing some interesting facts and features as it unravels. You also pass alongside the stream, through the churchyard where you pick up the Cotswold Way for a brief stretch, and up to the highpoint before returning to the main street having completing your circular walk. The whole is paved underfoot including the short section by water although at times the relatively steep pavements, both up and down, require caution especially in wintery conditions. There are several great and historic pubs to try and cafes and tea shops to suit every taste.

Whilst light pushchairs could be taken on this Trail by those willing to tackle the occasional short hill, we regret we are not able to recommend this to wheelchair users.
