  • YOUR CASE

Following the death of a Tetbury-born explorer, his desk was taken to Dolphin Antiques for evaluation. Imagine the surprise of owner, Dolly Fingle, when she discovered a map tucked away in a secret drawer. It told of the explorer's fear of losing to savages the precious find he had made on a faraway island, and where he had buried it for safe keeping. Can you solve the clues and help locate the hoard? If you can you might win a cash prize.

    Tetbury

Can you solve the clues and find out where the treasure is buried? Tetbury is a charming hilltop Cotswold town famous for its location near to the home of HRH Prince of Wales, the annual woolsack races in May and its many antique shops. It also boasts an interesting history as a Medieval wool trading town and has at its core a fine example of a Market House dating from 1655 where the Trail begins. The Trail will take you through Tetbury's most scenic and historic areas including Long Street, The Chipping, Gumstool Hill and the impressive St Mary's Church. There are plenty of places along the route for refreshments.

This treasure trail is 1.5 miles long and should take you about 1.5 hours to complete. It is on level, paved surfaces throughout and is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users.
