    Greedy property developer, Mike Way, MD of DOORS (Destroy 'Orrible Old Ruin Sites) is threatening the heritage of Gloucester having placed sonic masonry eroding devices in key locations around the city. Unless they are deactivated they will cause these historic buildings to collapse, leaving prime locations vulnerable to an open DOORS development frenzy. Can you follow the trail, solve the clues, find the deactivation code and block the Way!

    NOTE: SAME TRAIL: NEW NAME. This Trail has been renamed! Once 'Gloucester City History and Heritage' we've given it a tweak or two but the Trail remains the same.

    The City of Gloucester is a vibrant mix of bustling modern shops, dynamic businesses, international tourism, and a long and proud heritage as the County town. The centre of the city has seen recent redevopment in places and further investment is still visible around the town.

    Much of the 1.5 mile Trail route is through pedestrianised streets and all is on paved surfaces making this suitable for oushchairs and wheelchairs. Hidden gems are waiting to be discovered around every corner.

    Please note that this Trail only skirts the back of the Cathedral grounds and does not explore the famous Victorian docks, both of which are the subject of the alternative Treasure Hunt Trail "City and Historic Docks".
