  • YOUR MISSION

Failed scientist, Dr D Zaster, wanted one last chance to impress. Thinking Cheltenham was famous for its Fishing Wish he has planted a device in the Sandford Park area of town that will leak a chemical into the water of the River Chelt to make all the pond life grow to gigantic proportions! It is set to go off before the Wishing Fish chimes midnight tonight. Can you work out the code to de-activate the device before it’s too late?

    Cheltenham Bath Road Quarter

The Bath Road Quarter of Cheltenham, with its magnificent Georgian and Victorian buildings, Sandford Park and Lido along with friendly pubs, cafes, restaurants and local independent shops offers something for everyone. Historically this was an area where much of the artisan community lived in the early 19th Century.

The Trail provides an oppportunity to view at close quarters Cheltenham College and adjacent buildings, some of the popular shopping area, tuck down back streets to discover gems of historical interest and ends in Sandford Park for an oppportunity to run, play and picnic.
The Trail is 2.3 miles long on flat, mostly paved terrain. It includes two stretches through parks but the majority of clues can be accessed from pathways. Pushchair users should easily manage the few steps into the Park but sadly these make the Trail unsuitable for wheelchair users.
