  • YOUR CASE

When head of the Cathedral floristry team, Marie Gould, did not report for duty, suspicions were aroused and local detective, Honor Mishun, was called in to investigate. No surprises that there appear to have been many people who were jealous of Marie's position but would anyone 'arrange' her demise? Who would want to see her pushing up daisies? Can you help solve the mystery? If so, you may win a cash reward.

    Bristol West End

This Trail, one of 5 currently available in the city, explores the area of Bristol known as the West End (centred around Park Street). Beginning and ending in College Green close to the Cathedral the Trail follows an often hilly route up towards Brandon Hill (of Cabot Tower fame - although the tower is itself currently being refurbished and is therefore not accessible). The descent takes you behind Colston Hall and The Hippodrome to emerge at the front of the theatre before the final stretch back to College Green.

Limited on-street parking may be available at times although there are good carparks at Millennium Square, a short walk away. Follow signs to the Cathedral to begin.

Because of the steep terrain, any other than very light pushchairs might find the route challenging. Brandon Hill makes a peaceful and scenic place for a picnic along the way plus there are coffee shops, pubs and restaurants in this part of town for those who prefer.
