Mini Detective Club
We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.
Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite
them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from
the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Before you set off on your awesome adventure to explore Bourton-on-the-Water, there are a few things you need to know...
The route isn’t friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs. This is due to narrow gates and uneven terrain encountered along the footpaths.
PLEASE NOTE: During winter months and after bouts of particularly wet weather, bring your wellies! A section of the Trail will see you exploring across fields and by the River Windrush. This section of the route can become VERY muddy!
Bring your four-legged friends along! This Trail is suitable for dogs, though they will need to be kept on leads when exploring in and around the village centre, where it can get very busy at times.
We recommend parking in Rissington Road car park (best postcode is GL54 2BN), which is beside The Dragonfly Maze and Birdland attractions - and where your Trail begins.
There are some fantastic events in Bourton-on-the-Water’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful village. However, you may find that some of the clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Bourton-on-the-Water Tourist Information.
There are public toilets available at the beginning and end of the Trail. There are refreshment stops at various places along the way.
Looking for things to do in Bourton-on-the-Water? Make a day of it and visit Birdland or the Cotswold Motor Museum (which is closed during winter) to learn more twisting tales about the beautiful area. If you need more puzzles to solve, you can always try The Dragonfly Maze which is next to the car park at the end of your Trail.
