24/06/2011
2nd and 3rd July 2011, is set to be an exciting weekend for all lovers of Treasure Trails. Just in time for The Cotswolds Show, Treasure Trails Gloucestershire launch TWO fun new local Trails which will be available to customers for the first time on their stand in the RCA Craft Tent.
Lechlade on Thames, the charming riverside location, is the subject of a 2.4mile walk taking in the best sights of the town and waterside, as Trailers endeavour to solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the entirely fictitious 12th Century Comte de l'Argent's tax hoard. Exploring the sights and solving clues whilst taking in historic Cotswolds architecture, learning about the history of the area, getting fresh air and exercise all rolled into one couldn't get much more fun, and all for just £5 for a family or group of friends!
The other new Trail is an exciting development for us. For the first time, our catalogue will include a Trail primarily aimed at accompanied children from 7-11 years, with their very own Junior Trail around Bibury, where something fishy has been going on! Bibury is well known worldwide and a popular tourist stop-off but our Trail has been designed to engage specifically the younger generation in appreciating the village and all it has to offer and allowing for a longer stay, to explore and enjoy Bibury to the full. Our family of testers said, "We all absolutely loved it - thank you! The kids said it was 'awesome' and we thought it was fantastic for taking us around parts of Bibury that we'd never seen before, off the beaten track, so it felt like a real adventure". In addition to following the simple step-by-step directions to solve the clues, this Trail includes five additional activites to keep the children entertained PLUS a special offer voucher for a FREE child admission to Bibury Trout Farm, sponsors of the Treasure Trail.
So come and visit our stand at The Cotswolds Show. We will be joined for the first time by our colleague from Wiltshire and between the two regions will have a choice of 40+ Treasure Hunts, Murder Mystery Hunts and Spy Mission Trail locations available to choose from. With our SHOW ONLY offer of 2 for £9 and 3 for £12, this is the opportunity to stock up for the summer holidays and plan to explore Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds to the max. Hope to see you there.
