As dawn broke over the Cotswolds, Lady Gloria Glarsta was woken by the sound of an intruder at her open bedroom window. Through the haze of sleep she caught a glimpse of the culprit—that cheeky magpie, so often seen in her garden, making off with her favourite diamond ring! Can you help to track it down?
Clues as to its whereabouts have been hidden in six of the most charming locations in Gloucestershire. If you can solve the clues and help Lady Gloria find where in her garden the ring has been hidden, you will be well rewarded.
How to solve the Trail
There are two clues in each of six Gloucestershire Gardens. Click on each clue.
The answers are words that you will find as you navigate to the websites of the participating Gardens. Make a note of the first letter of your answer and cross off the flowerpot on the answer worksheet bearing the same letter. Correctly solving all the clues and eliminating flowerpots will enable you to complete the Trail. When you have worked out where the ring is hidden in the garden, write your answer in the place provided and take your worksheet along to each garden to redeem your reward voucher.
Before you begin, download and print your answer sheet here, and when you’ve solved the mystery, take your answer sheet along to each garden to receive your reward. (if you do not have Adobe Reader installed then click here for a free download)
