YOUR MISSION
Hedingham Castle has a high security vault, which has been empty for years. Not any more! It now contains Donny Dim, the castle's newest employee! While being shown around, Donny managed to lock himself in the vault! The vault hasn't been used for years; nobody can remember the unlock code. However, the code was hidden in a series of clues round the village in case of such an emergency. Can you solve the clues and save Donny?
Castle Hedingham
The gorgeous little village of Castle Hedingham is a jewel in the crown of Essex's countryside. Not only does this Trail allow you to discover more about it than you knew before, it also takes you on a scenic walk through the beautiful countryside. You'll find history and quaint charm in abundance in Castle Hedingham.
Unfortunately, this Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs due to a number of steps. However, it's a fairly short walk, at one and a half miles, so the kids won't get too tired! We expect it'll take you around two hours to complete it and remember, like all our Trails, it's totally circular, so no lengthy treks back to the car!
