  • YOUR CASE

Ivana Cramp had been a member of the Minster Choir for several years. She had recently come into a large inheritance when her distorted body was found by the vicar in the vestry. Had she been bumped off for her money or had someone just had enough of her overpowering presence in the choir? Solve the clues around Wimborne and you could win a prize.

    Wimborne Minster

This Trail takes you around the Minster Town of Wimborne. There is archaeological evidence that Wimborne has been home to people since phehistoric times. Roman soldiers settled here in the first century, and in AD705 Cuthburga built a nunnery here which at one time housed 500 nuns. The nunnery was destroyed by the Danes in 1013. There are many beautiful historic buildings in and around the town which is dominated by the twin towers of the Minster Church. This was an interesting Trail to write and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

This murder mystery Trail is a fairly relaxing Trail with no difficult areas to negotiate, which makes it suitable for both wheelchairs and pushchairs. The Trail should take about 2 hours with 1.5 miles of walking.

    WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
    Wimborne Minster
We liked that there were no hills and that there were lots of pubs.
