West Bay has always had a good variety of great seafood restaurants. Chris P Bacon, the local grumpy butcher has had enough of his sea loving neighbours. He has put a detonating mini submarine in the harbour full of crab eating jellyfish. Complete the Trail and help the local Crabbers work out the code to deactivate the mini sub, zap the jellyfish and save the crabs for the crab eating West Bayers!
West Bay
West Bay is one of the Dorset gateways to the Jurassic Coast, which covers 95 miles of coast from Orcombe Rocks at Exmouth, Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset. Sometimes known as the Dinosaur Coast, visitors from around the world visit West Dorset for fossil hunting in stunning coastal scenery. The famous sandstone East Cliff at West Bay exposes 180 million years of history.
This Treasure Trail is 1½ miles and takes approximately 2 hours. The Trail is suitable for wheelchairs and for pushchairs.
