YOUR CASE
Following the suspicious death of Duchess Eva Soritch, the local auction house has been instructed by her solicitors, Fleesom & Settle, to sell off her fabulous collection of ancient family relics. Several of the Duchess’s relatives have come crawling out of the woodwork to see what is coming to them, hopefully not the same as the Duchess. Solve the clues and find the murderer before any of the money-grabbing relatives meet the same fate.
Wareham Walk the Walls
This Saxon town is protected by three massive earth banks, know as the walls, the fourth side protected by the second longest river in Dorset, the Frome. In 1762 the majority of the timber houses in Wareham were destroyed by a great fire which started in the Bull's Head along South Street. The Almshouses and the Manor House were amongst only a few of the buildings to survive. Since 1632 there have been 30 public houses recorded in Wareham. "Ye Olde Wareham Pub Crawl" is a great publication showing the location and history of 27 of these, the remaining locations of 3 of these public houses, the Eight Bells, the Jolly Sailor and the Three Lions are unknown.
This walking murder mystery Trail will take you along the walls of Wareham, the town and to the picturesque Wareham Quay. The Trail is about 1.7 miles in length and should take about 2 hours to complete. There is a slight alternative route available for wheelchair users and pushchairs which makes this Trail suitable for anyone.
